Why PlanMySalary exists
Most money decisions begin before a product is chosen. They begin with a practical question: after rent, bills, EMIs, and everyday life, what can this income comfortably support?
PlanMySalary was built to make that question easier to answer. The site brings together salary, savings, borrowing, tax, and goal-planning calculators for people who want a useful first estimate before they make a bigger commitment.
What we provide
- Free calculators for salary, affordability, savings, debt, and long-term goals.
- Country-specific salary and tax estimates, with assumptions explained on each page.
- Plain-language guides that help users understand the question behind a calculation.
- Wealth Coach, an optional signed-in tool for setting short-term goals and recording weekly progress.
How our calculators work
Our calculators use published rules where relevant and common planning formulas such as EMI, future value, inflation adjustment, tax bands, and monthly investment estimates. The result is only as useful as the inputs and assumptions used, so each calculator should be read together with its formula notes and FAQs.
Rules, rates, employer policies, lender criteria, and tax treatment can change. We review pages over time, but a calculator is not a substitute for checking the current official rules or speaking with a qualified adviser.
Who this site is for
- Salaried professionals planning monthly savings.
- Families preparing for a home, car, or child education goal.
- Borrowers deciding whether loan prepayment may help.
- Gig workers who want to estimate earnings after common working costs.
- Anyone who wants a simple way to turn income into goal decisions.
What we are not
PlanMySalary is not a bank, broker, lender, insurer, registered investment adviser, tax practice, legal practice, employer, or delivery platform. We do not recommend specific financial products or promise an outcome, approval, return, tax result, or salary figure.
Our content approach
We aim for useful, plain-language explanations and show assumptions rather than hiding them. We avoid presenting estimates as guaranteed outcomes. Pages mentioning third-party brands are informational only; unless a page explicitly says otherwise, those brands do not sponsor, endorse, or operate PlanMySalary.
